Be stroke smart

Webinar to be held May 12

The May 12 session will provide an overview of stroke risk factors and warning signs.

Postal Service employees can participate in an upcoming webinar to learn facts about strokes.

The session, “Be Stroke Smart,” will be held Thursday, May 12, at noon EDT.

Representatives from CareFirst and the Virginia Hospital Center will conduct the webinar and provide an overview of stroke risk factors, warning signs and what to do during the critical first few minutes following a stroke.

Participants must register before the event on the webinar website. After signing up, directions will be emailed to each registrant.

Following the webinar, registrants will receive an email with a link to an archived recording of it.

Participation is voluntary. Nonexempt employees may only participate off the clock or during authorized breaks.
