Healing with food

Webinar to be held June 21

The June 21 session will explain that how and what you eat can turn the tables on a healthy diagnosis.

Postal Service employees can participate in an upcoming webinar to learn how adding certain foods to their diet can improve common ailments.

The session, “Health Literacy — Translating Your Diagnosis Into Eating,” will be held Tuesday, June 21, at noon Eastern.

Health and wellness representatives from GEHA, a not-for-profit provider of health plans for federal employees, will explain that how and what you eat can turn the tables on a health diagnosis and improve glucose and cholesterol levels.

Participants must register before the event on the webinar website. After signing up, directions for accessing the session will be emailed to each registrant.

Following the webinar, every registrant will receive an email with a link to an archived recording of the session.

Participation is voluntary. Nonexempt employees may only participate off the clock or during authorized breaks.
