EAP services available for employees

The USPS Employee Assistance Program provides access to licensed professionals for counseling, support, therapy and coaching.

The Postal Service wants employees to know about professionals who are available to provide confidential counseling, consultation and coaching services to help manage life’s challenges.

The USPS Employee Assistance Program is a free, voluntary program that offers assessment, referral, short-term counseling and more to postal employees and their families.

EAP provides 24/7 access to licensed professionals who can provide:

• Face-to-face counseling;

• Video counseling;

• Telephone counseling;

• “In-the-moment” support;

• Online therapy;

• Coaching and training; and

• Consultations.

EAP professionals can also assist employees with issues related to work-life balance, health and wellness, elder and child care, critical incident response, suicide prevention and retirement.
