Scanning snapshot. A snapshot of Postal Service scanning data shows the national rating was 96.69 percent during the week ending Jan. 27, down 0.15 from one week earlier.
The data was collected Feb. 1.
Central led the four areas with a rating of 97.21 percent, while WestPac ranked last with a 95.51 percent rating.
Among the 50 districts, Wisconsin, part of Central Area, ranked first with a 98.01 percent rating, while California 4, part of WestPac Area, ranked last with an 80.94 percent rating.
Scanning data allows customers to track their mail and packages, which helps USPS deliver excellent service, boost loyalty and drive revenue.
To see the latest data, go to the Informed Visibility website and select “Customer Experience,” followed by “DES 2 Scan Performance.” Postal Service employees must request Informed Visibility access through eAccess.
Bottled water update: Postal Service facilities that want to request bottled water service should note that the supplier’s name has changed to BlueTriton Brands Inc. from Nestle Waters North America Inc.
All sites currently receiving bottled water service from BlueTriton must complete a new eBuy Plus requisition by Feb. 15.
Sites with a valid eBuy Plus Nestle purchase order must complete a new eBuy Plus BlueTriton purchase order for eight months of bottled water service to cover fiscal year 2023.
Sites the currently have service from BlueTriton but that don’t have a valid purchase order must complete an eBuy Plus BlueTriton requisition for 12 months of bottled water service to cover fiscal year 2023.
Sites requesting new service should follow the instructions in Material Logistics Bulletin MLB-CO-19-001.
Delivery data. From Jan. 1 through Jan. 20, the Postal Service delivered 91.7 percent of First-Class Mail on time when compared with the organization’s service standard, according to data released last week.
During the same period, USPS delivered 93.9 percent of Marketing Mail and 85.3 percent of Periodicals on time, the figures show.
