Stamps celebrate deer, rabbits, owls, foxes

The four Winter Woodland Animals stamps each have an image of either a deer, rabbit, owl or fox.

The Postal Service released its Winter Woodland Animals stamps on Oct. 10.

The stamp artwork features whimsical graphics of four of the most familiar wildlife spotted across much of the American landscape: deer, rabbits, owls and foxes.

Each animal appears with details of its habitat in winter, such as a full or crescent moon, snow-covered trees, holly branches with berries, and snowflakes.

Antonia Alcalá, an art director for USPS, designed the stamps with digital illustrations by Katie Kirk.

The Forever stamps are available in books of 20 at Post Offices and usps.com.
