Belleville, IL, Letter Carrier Donald Fix became concerned when he noticed a couple hadn’t collected mail in several days. He heard someone crying for help when he knocked on their locked front door. Fix called emergency responders, who entered the house and found the couple needed medical care. They were taken to a hospital where they recovered.
