Pearisburg, VA, Letter Carrier Gary Hartwell was delivering a package to a woman’s home recently, but as she approached the door, she collapsed.
Hartwell caught the woman, preventing her from hitting the ground. A neighbor helped him seat her on a sofa.
After calling 911, Hartwell continued on his route. The woman was hospitalized but is expected to recover.
