Rural Carrier James Hunter was recently delivering a package to a customer’s home in Prosper, TX, when the man’s housekeeper asked for help.
Her boss had fallen in the garage, she said, and she couldn’t get him up on her own.
Hunter, who had assisted the customer after a previous tumble, checked on him, lifted him into a chair and located a pair of crutches for him.
Though visibly injured, the customer declined medical attention, and Hunter left him in the housekeeper’s care.
