Scanning snapshot. The Postal Service’s national scanning rating was 97.31 percent during the week ending Dec. 30.

Dakotas (98.3 percent) topped the districts, while Western (97.66 percent) led the areas.

Scanning allows customers to track their packages and mail. It also helps the Postal Service improve efficiency and network management.

Scores and standings change continually. To see the latest results, go to the Enterprise Analytics site and select “Scanning” on the left hand side, and then “DES 2 — Scan Performance” from the drop-down options.

New training. Two new CyberSafe at USPS courses are available in the Learning Management System.

The courses are Workstation Safety (course number 10025921), which all career employees must complete by June 30, and Protection from Malware (course number 10025923), which all career employees must complete by Sept. 15.

Employees with ACE IDs are also required to complete Passwords and Phishing (course number 10025917) and Data Protection (course number 10025918) by Feb. 28.

USPS encourages contractors with ACE IDs to complete these courses as well.
