Here’s a look at some recent changes in the Postal Service leadership ranks:
• Richard L. Acker, field labor relations operations senior director, retired Jan. 2 after 42 years with USPS.
• Barbara E. Kirchner, Tennessee District’s human resources field manager, was named acting field human resources director for Southern Area and Eastern Region.
• Eloise Lance, equal employment opportunity compliance and appeals director, retired Jan. 1 after a 38-year postal career.
• Michael Melendrez, Southern Region’s senior logistics director, was named acting surface logistics senior director. He succeeded Stephen B. Hagenstein, who completed an assignment as surface logistics senior director and resumed his duties as logistics modeling and analytics director.
